Logan Nelson '24 Recruiting Profile

I never thought I would end up joining the track team, but after seeing people run during my 5th grade track and field day, that’s when I knew that I would join the team. I set out on my journey in my Freshman year of high school and I ended up making Varsity for the hurdle events. I constantly set goals to break and even when I don’t meet those goals on meet day, I continue to push myself to reach that goal. I value my obsession over track and work myself to the limit to improve, although I do make sure to balance my school and track life to make sure I do not fall behind. Track has been my other half of my heart since I was a kid and I even got into lifting because of it. Hard work pays off, but that hard work will never stop when I am on the track and the classroom
