I have been involved in track since 7th grade and have been in love with it ever since. I have a huge interest in running track in college. My main goal as a collegiate athlete is to attend a school to where I can come in and make an impact on the team right away. Over the years track has taught me several things. It has taught me to be even more determined and competitive than I already am, how to be a leader on and off the track, motivation, and how to be an all-around better person. I see a track team as a big family and in being a family we all treat each other with respect, are supportive, and kind. Athletically, I am willing to do anything the coach wants me to because I know it's going to make me better. I have also earned many awards over my two years in high school so far. Academics play a huge role in my life. I put in the same amount of effort in the classroom as on the track. In doing so, I have been able to maintain a 3.70 GPA.
