I have been doing track my whole life, and according to my parents, I was running before I was walking. Having competed since I was six years old, I have a deep understanding and love of the sport that I bring to the track every day. In addition to competing at school I have been fortunate to attend several track camps which have honed my technique through innovative drills and information, which I have brought back to my team and shared as much as possible. As a junior in High School, I am currently a captain of our track team. Two years ago I competed at the national level and was hoping to return last year but a high hamstring injury early in the season held me back. I was poised to return this year again, but unfortunately Spring season has been canceled. I am hoping there may be some competitions that open up again before Fall. Down the road I would like a career in sports medicine, so in addition to the work I do on the track, I apply myself diligently to my academics to blend my passions together.
