Discipline and work ethic have always been my two greatest strengths. Having little athletic talent in my beginning phases, I found my true talent in working as hard as I can to become the athlete I want. This means not only respecting my coaches desires, but also listening to my body so I remain injury free. This work ethic also applies in the classroom. I will always put myself up to the highest academic challenge, while accepting the struggles that come with it, so I can push myself to become better. Good social skills have also been a staple of my character as well. I’ve always enjoyed bonding with new teammates and getting along with others that I don’t know, as I recognize how important this is. My overall goal as a collegiate athlete is to become a reliable and respectful teammate who can be counted on to improve rapidly, and consistently compete at his best in the collegiate scene.
