As a multi-sport athlete, I have consistently proven my athleticism and competitiveness on the wrestling mat, soccer field, and track, where I have competed statewide in all 3. However, as of the 2023-2024 school year, I have committed to my running career and have begun preparing to be a part of the best college team I can. I have significantly contributed to a disciplined and hard-working dynamic as my high school team's captain and leader figure. I have also applied that dynamic to my academic career, maintaining a GPA of over 3.5 and taking advanced and AP classes. As a student-athlete, I'm looking for a college that can push me not only on the Track but also in the classroom, where I plan to major in the field of STEM. I always try to be a role model, peer, and athlete, and I value being a respectable and educated person for the people around me.
I am a consistent runner in my performances and year-round dedication to improving. I've logged 35-50 mile weeks since the 2023 Track season, usually running 2-3 weekly workouts. Along with my coachability and competitive team environment, I have been improving and am confident I have much room to grow with the step-up that comes with a college training program. I also value being a student of the sport, as I plan to continue attending several running camps and being in touch with many credible and successful runners.
