Personal Statement
I always treat my team mates, coaches, and opposing team members with respect and dignity. I’m a team captain on my JV basketball team, so I lead by example in pushing through tough games with a positive attitude and determination to play hard until the end of the game.
As a Varsity runner since my freshman year, I’ve learned how to miss a lot of classes for away meets, and still do well in school. Also, both basketball and track require dedication of time for practice, games, and volunteering. I do all those and still have a social life and time with my family.
