I attended Cathedral Preparatory School for two years and then transferred to my local public school (Meadville Area Senior High school) for family reasons. I never thought about running track because it never seemed that fun. When i transferred back to Meadville as a junior a friend of mine told me I should just try Track and field. I high jumped, long jumped and hurdled. My first high jump height at a local dual meet was 5'2", about a month and a half later I won the District title with a 6'3" jump. I went on to states to place 16th. I then started my indoor track season a little late and had my first meet on January 30th, at this meet i jumped 6'8.
