Eli DeSimone '25 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a senior at Winchester Thurston High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. From an early age, I have enjoyed running. I joined my first cross country team in second grade and have participated in that sport ever since. Winchester Thurston historically has had many championship cross-country  teams, and I hope to help continue that tradition.  As a student, I maintain a 3.8 GPA and take several honors classes.

I have always been someone that does not shy away from a challenge or hard work. I appreciate that it takes hard work and dedication to achieve any goal worth having. I have been fortunate to learn from great coaches who have helped me continue to get better. When I am not training or in school, my time is spent with my two younger brothers and volunteering at my church.
