My why is something that my former coach always talked about. He would constantly ask us what is our why. My why is my family. My parents provide for me daily, and this is finally my chance to repay them for everything they have done for me. I stand out not only in my athletic performance but also I maintain a GPA of 4.774 and this will qualify me for any program interested in me. But where I believe I stand out the most is the foundation of God that I strive to stand on and live by every day so that I can build a holy and God-fearing character. I believe I am the best candidate for your team because my unique character is my commitment to success in academics, service, and athletics. As a student, I have always strived to excel in my education and as a result, I have achieved academic excellence throughout my educational journey. I commit myself to serving others less fortunate than myself, which is displayed through the various organizations and clubs listed above. As an athlete, I have dedicated myself to focusing on improving my craft for the betterment of my team and most importantly myself. Lastly, as a student-athlete, it is important to have self-confidence. I believe in a win-win state of mind. Win-win means to accelerate on and off the field, athletics and academics equal balance in a true student-athlete such as myself. Balance equals self-confidence, self-confidence is what drives success.
