Personal Statement

Dear Coaches,

I can promise you the best attitude on and off the track. I'm a team player but, still know how to focus on me. I love competition and being around people just as athletic as me. I want to go to a school where I have a chance to run my freshman year of college because I'm a better contributor when I'm actually in the race. I want a team and coaching staff that is serious about winning because, I'm a very bad loser. I want track to take me as far as breaking Michael Johnson's NCAA, World, and Olympic Records. I have big dreams for myself in track and want a coaching staff that's going to get there. I also promise to be the best student-athlete I can be because it's very important to my single mother raising two kids and me being the oldest that I get my education and prosper in track and school.

Ran the 400m in 51.8 with hurt hamstring and got a Bronze medal out of 4 heats. Also, ran the 800m in 2:07 with same injury and got a Bronze medal

South Carolina 4A State Qualifier Meet
I was first leg in the first heat of the 4x400m with lane 8. I was tied for first place coming down the last 100m and ran a 50 sec flat leg but my coach told me it was a high 49. Unfortunately, we didn't make it to the finals for it because of lack of effort and support.
