Hello, I'm Derek Parker. I am a part of Cy-Fair High school's Track and Field team, and I participate in the discus throw and shot put events. I started throwing when I was in 8th grade and ever since then I've dreamed of throwing in college. I am continually seeking wisdom in the art of throwing, and I'm looking for areas to improve, whether it be in strength, technique, or state of mind. I always put grades first. I manage my time to where I'm able to throw and maintain good grades. I work hard, listen to critiques and apply them, and strive to better myself. I look forward to talking with you!
