I entered high school with one goal pertaining to my continued education and personal athletic development. Train and improve my personal performance to the levels that would not only allow me to compete, but to excel at the collegiate level. Every race I compete in provides me an opportunity to push past previous boundaries, excel against the competition, and create new personal goals. This continued drive to perform, and then outperform transfers over to every aspect of my life from my recognized work ethic, passion for running, and leadership style, to my continued drive for academic excellence and the never-ending pursuit of my personal best. With a history of AP courses resulting in a weighted GPA of 4.05, and a continued record of improving performance on the track, I have a solid record of pushing myself to achieve my best. My flexibility toward goal-oriented results and team success has allowed me to excel in varying competitive environments based on the needs of the team. I know that I have talents that have yet to be discovered and utilized to their maximum potential and look forward to being an invaluable asset to a college cross country and track and field team.
