Personal Statement
My name is Parker Harris. I'm currently in 8th grade and have been running since I was a little kid with my mom at community races. I started running competitively last year with my Jr. High School track team. I found a love for distance running and over the summer was invited to train with the high school XC team. Since starting to run competitively, I have truly discovered my passion. I look forward to pushing my limits and setting new PR's any chance I get. I enjoy the camaraderie I get from running with a group but I'm also happy to put the miles in alone. Any coach can count on me to give 100% effort, all of the time with a good attitude and positive energy.
