Elias Morris '24 Recruiting Profile

I am an extremely hardworking and ambitious Junior in high school. I've been running track for three years and moved to Virginia from a small school in N.Y. during the summer of 2021. I have a very strong work ethic and have started thriving under the coaching expertise I've received at my current school. I am a strong mid-distance runner and have seen consistent improvement and faster times during my track seasons. 

I have strong leadership skills and have repeatedly proven myself to be one of the leaders on the team. Recently, I have been tasked with coaching some of the new members of the team in proper hurdle technique. 

During my next Outdoor season, I will primarily be running the 400m, 800m and the 4x400m relay with hopes of seeing my 400 time go down to   48s-49s, and my 800 time drop down to 1:53-1:58. 

My hope is that I will have the opportunity to run Track at the collegiate level. I believe that I have a lot to offer any program that gives me the chance to compete for them and that I can be a valuable asset both on and off the track.
