Connor Treccia '25 Recruiting Profile

I played baseball and basketball in grade school and did not start volleyball until March 2022 (freshman year in high school).  I quickly found love for it, joined the Chicago Elite club team, and made their top 16U team in my first year. I am continuing with high school basketball because of the athletic skills it builds but my true passion is volleyball.  I am 6'4" with a 10'7" vertical reach/jump and have strong athletic skills from my 10+ years of basketball.  I serve as a team leader on the court and I am an Eagle Scout.  I attend one of the top 5 public high schools in Illinois - Jones College Prep (a Chicago Selective Enrolment school).  A Jones, every class is AP or Honors.  I completed my freshman year with 6 A's and 1 B in the first semester and 7 A's in the second semester. I completed my sophomore year with 7 A's in both semesters.

I'm a dedicated athlete, team/classroom leader, and give back to my community through scouts.  I have also worked for 4 years as a baseball/softball umpire. I'm interested in playing college volleyball, ideally at the D1 level.
