I have been playing volleyball since the fifth grade and have fallen in love with the sport, and I simply wish to stay involved with it for as long as I can. I am a student athlete who has excelled both on the court and in the classroom, earning a 3.98 (on a 4.0 scale) while also maintaining a starting role on a high school team and club team that are both highly ranked in the nation(often both in the top five). My perseverance and determination is the greatest difference between me and my peers, leading to my ranking in the top 1% of my class academically and my success in the volleyball community as a whole, evidenced through my selection and involvement in the national team development program through USA volleyball.
