22-23 Cheyenne Hi...Personal Statement
I had never liked sports. I only started playing volleyball when my older brother wanted to teach me how to pass so he had someone to pepper with. He told me that I was naturally good at passing when I first tried it and that gave me the belief that this is THE sport. I started playing volleyball seriously my sophomore year of high school, but regardless, I have improved at an incredible rate and am still improving. I always believe there is room for improvement and the only way to get that is by challenging myself everyday.
I am varsity all three years and am captain of Cheyenne High School's Boys Volleyball program for 2023-2024. It's been an honor to work under the seniors and former captains and it is my time to teach and lead my team. This sport was just special to me and I'll never stop loving it.
