Personal Statement
My personal statement is simple; I plan to follow in my family's footsteps as a public servant. I am a patriot and will serve my country by whatever means I can.
I have an amazing work ethic and am extremely goal oriented. What separates me from other candidates is a lifetime of real-world experience! As a homeschooled student, I have been fortunate to travel America extensively, as well as numerous other countries. My family has taught me success is gained through service to others. In fact, I will be spending my junior summer in Kenya Africa at my parents orphanage- The School of Angels.
I have a passion for water related sports; surfing, swimming and most of all water polo. I played numerous years of tackle football and baseball. Most of these years were on travel teams, achieving success at many levels. When I joined water polo to stay in shape, I had no idea my pitching arm would make such a significant impact on my scoring ability and my team's successes. The 75 goals I scored as a sophomore (offensive MVP) really motivated me to pursue water polo as my primary sport. My drive to succeed and my work ethic will help me overcome the fact that I am relatively new to this sport.
I plan to continue my education at the highest levels and to pursue my passion in oceanography. The world's echo system is being embattled and I hope to make an impact in that war.
I have no doubt that you will be happy choosing me for your program and I assure you I will not let you down.
