I was introduced to water polo at age 9 when my older brother started playing, and I was immediately drawn to the team atmosphere and fast-paced nature of the game. As a freshman, I earned a starting spot on the varsity team, known for being a smart outside shooter with a strong sense for setting up clean assists. As a sophomore, I’ve grown to love playing center, my favorite position, but I’m confident and adaptable in any role in the pool.
Our high school team had a standout season, finishing third at the State Championship. I was honored to be named Second Team All-State and First Team All-Sectional. I've also proudly represented the Midwest region in the ODP National Tournament as a Development, Cadet, and Youth athlete.
I bring the same discipline and focus to the classroom as I do to my training. I scored in the top 95% nationally on the 8th grade PSAT and currently take a full load of Honors and AP courses. I balance this rigorous academic schedule while training in the National training group for my local swim club and playing water polo at both the high school and club levels, all while maintaining strong grades.
I’m excited to continue playing water polo at the collegiate level. I’m passionate about Math and Science and plan to major in a field that combines both—particularly Technology, Data Science, or Artificial Intelligence.
