Personal Statement
My goals for college are to be successful both athletically and academically. I work hard in and out of practice to be the best I can be; that is why I will fit in nicely on the college team on which I will play. I am a confident and versatile water polo player because the hard work I put into practice translates to good output during games. Throughout high school, at McDonogh School in Owings Mills Maryland, I have had successful careers in both water polo and swimming, making varsity in both by my sophomore year and winning championships in both sports. I will be captain of both sports as well for my senior year. I also strive to become a better person outside of school and athletics, having completed over 200 hours of community service. With my hard work in and out of the pool, I am confident that I will make my coach, and my school happy with my performances.
