Personal Statement

My name is Alisha Marshall and I am a senior (was a varsity starter since my Freshman year) from Selma, CA. I've been playing since I was 4 years old and playing travel ball for 4 years. I currently play for Fresno Force 18 Gold team. I am a lefty slapper that can hit for power, and I play shortstop and middle infield.  I graduate in 2015.

I have received a 4.0 GPA since 4th grade and I continue to put my academics first by now having a 4.33 GPA. I'm looking at all colleges that have a nursing program with a high academic level along with a competitive softball program.

I have a younger brother that has had special needs since he was born. Because of the extra challenges my family and I have faced, I have accomplished different and difficult challenges that has convinced me that I can accomplish anything I set my mind to. Whether that is academics, softball or just life in general, he motivates me to do the best I can do. 110%
