My name is Sarah Haire, I attend Rockville High School in Vernon, Connecticut. I have been playing softball since i was ten years old, ever since I stepped foot on the field, not only was it my favorite sport, but it was my goal to play in college. For the past six years playing softball I have worked very hard to better myself as a person and a player and become a leader of my team.
On the field I work hard to help my teammates while learning myself. All points and tips from the coach are taken and practiced on a daily, both at the field and at home. Every practice is another opportunity to learn new skills and improve old ones. I strive to give 100% to the rest of my teammates and coaches whatever the situation my be.
In the classroom, I maintain High honors and take part in all honors classes. I am apart of the schools varsity softball and volleyball team, Relay for Life team, Student Council and Link Crew. I plan on joining several other clubs in the upcoming year at our school and some outside of school. Though becoming a better player takes up a lot of my time, I always manage my school work and athletics to make sure I am doing good on the field as well as in the classroom.
I strongly hope to get academics and athletics all in one at the college I attend, I am open to any schools and would love to be apart of any team I am offered.
