I was in second grade the first time I picked up a softball and threw a pitch, or at least what I thought was a pitch at that age. It wasn’t the prettiest pitch and was far from perfect, but the ball in my hand and the motion of my body throwing the ball still feels as good today as it did that first time. Playing softball has already taught me many lessons - dedication, time management, responsibility, and the importance of teamwork. I’m in the middle of my journey to become the College pitcher that I’ve dreamt about becoming since I was a little kid, but I’m ready and willing to keep working hard at achieving that dream playing the game that I love.
