Mikayla Hammond '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mikayla Hammond. I’m a Sophomore and  I’m playing my second year of varsity softball for Martinsville High School.

Softball has played a big part of who I am today. It has really helped me socialize and make new friends. I’ve learned some of the most important lessons of life by being apart of a team that always supports one another. I believe that you always need to give a 110% on and off the field. Also, that you practice how you play by giving a full effort on anything that you are supposed to do. I have always been very passionate about softball and hopefully one day go to college to play.

I hope to pursue a degree in Spanish Teaching, as well as Early Childhood Education.
