I am a scholar (two sport) athlete and Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) huddle leader. My accomplishments are a result of my determination to develop, my mindset, game IQ and how I use my resources to my advantage. When I'm not in softball or golf season, I'm in the gym training and focusing on developing my mind, body and spirit. I like structure and routine, and leading by example. I also love teaching the game to the younger athletes in my free time.
I attend a small catholic high school that has only been around 10 years. My Freshman year was the first varsity softball season for the school. I was so excited to be part of building a new program and creating a culture that includes all athletes with any level of knowledge about the game. While I'm extremely passionate about the sport of softball, I'm also very focused on creating an accepting, faith-filled environment where I have fun with my teammates. It's not always about winning or losing the game, it's about continual progress towards goals.
As a pitcher, my calm and confident mound management keeps me controlled with a consistent 65+% strike to ball ratio, a natural 7" drop, and a change up that makes hitters look silly. As a Freshman Varsity softball starter, I was voted First Team All-State, First Team All Conference and area small school MVP. I also earned a roster spot on the Extreme Elite 16u National travel team competing heavily in fall and summer.
