Personal Statement

My name is Emma Walbert. I'm 5'4' and weigh 110 pounds. I will be a graduate of 2018 from Williamsville High School in Illinois. I am also involved in basketball. School is very important to me. I have a 4.2 GPA. I am ranked 18 in my class out of 147 kids. It has always been a dream of mine to play softball at the college level.

I have been playing softball since I was 4 years young and started competitive ball at the age of 9. I currently play for the Hitting Center Elite- Black. Previously I played for Select Softball based out of the Champaign, IL area and the Capital City Blitz and had the highest on base percentage as well as the highest batting average. I have started in centerfield and batting leadoff for varsity on my highschool team, Williamsville Bullets. I am a left handed slap hitter. I play outfield but can play second base. I work hard, hustle, am a team player, get along with everyone, have a good attitude, and I am a great teammate. I am determined to give my best and always working to get better. My goal is to play the sport I love and get a good education.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
