As an upcoming senior in high school I have a better understanding of myself. Everything that influenced my life in a negative way has made me into the person that I am today. My school goals are to always strive for a GPA above 3.5 and make sure I’m taking the necessary paths I need to be successful.
Honestly, I fell in love with softball at the age of 8. Played school ball and traveling ball all those years until I tore my ACL. I had to be away from the sport I loved. I had shirts made that said, “minor setback for major comeback”. Quite a few of my classmates and teammates bought shirts so that I could build my confidence back up for the sport I love. When I returned back to softball in 2019 I was awarded MVP, Batting average was .521, multiple awards from the team and I received 1st team all conference for the 2019 season. I would definitely call that a comeback! I am a slapper, aggressive on bases, and I’m known for my team spirit.
I am definitely ready for the next stepping stone in life. I am looking forward to choosing the college that will fulfill me academically and athletically.
