Lauren Winningham '27 Recruiting Profile

I have envisioned play softball at the collegiate level most of my young life.  Some people believe that getting a college scholarship is some random stroke of luck; however, I know that to make this dream a reality, it has nothing to do with luck and everything to do with hard work, a good attitude, and dedication to the sport. I believe I am just that type of player.  I have been taught the value of hard work and know that I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for my work ethic. I know that I am a student first and therefore strive to maintain a high GPA and will work hard to achieve my desired results for my upcoming ACT.  I know that obtaining a scholarship will take someone with a good attitude, willing to work hard, sacrifice self for team and have a never-give-up attitude, all qualities that I posses. I truly believe this is the start to making my dream come true.
