Personal Statement
I am ready for the next level of play because I know what it takes to succeed. As a member of any team one must first realize the commitment and understand her role. Work ethic is key, not only in season but in the off season as well. As a multi sport athlete I often travel from one practice to another, pushing myself even when I am tired because that is part of the responsibility I have to give my best at each opportunity. This isn't always easy and never achieved without a positive attitude. Everyone has tough days but success is often found through the encouragement of one another, leading by example, and always showing respect for the game and all those who take part in it. In addition, time management is of great importance to success as I learned this past summer while taking an intensive study dual-credit class, playing travel softball, and participating in various camps with my basketball team.
