Personal Statement
I have been playing competitive sports since grade school, first it was dance and cheer, next was gymnastics, and then I found my way to softball. I will always have a special place in my heart for all the sports I have played throughout the years, especially softball. When I get onto the field, all of my problems and stress goes away, and I play every game like it is my last. Softball has taught me so many life lessons on being a good teammate on and off the field. It has also taught me that the teams who win aren’t always the one with the most skill, but usually the teams who have the most heart, trust in their players, and the dedication.
I am currently a senior at Billings Skyview High School, a class AA school located in Billings, Montana. My goal as an athlete is not to only be a leader on the field, but also a leader in the classroom and work place. I continuously try and challenge myself not only on but off the field with honors classes.
After High School, I want to go to a school where I fit in both academically and athletically. I plan to major in a mathematics field, such as actuarial science, or sports medicine. I always talk about going to college to play my favorite sport, but in reality my education is just as important to me, so it is crucial to find the college that fits my needs!
