Personal Statement
When I first started playing I actually played baseball. I played baseball for 4 years, and I got the chance to play on the 9-10 all star team. Then I decided to transition into softball, and now have been playing for about 5 years. Softball has helped me learn many valuable life lessons. It really showed me that always having a clear mind and being positive can take you a long ways. The family I have made through softball is something I really admire. I am a very coach-able person, and I like a good challenge. I have lots of drive, and always willing to push my self to become a better player.
One of my biggest challenges I have faced as an athlete is injuries. Injuries are super frustrating, and hard to overcome. Although injuries are tough, they have taught me to persevere and to push myself even harder.
My motivation, and passion for the sport is why I think I would be a valuable team player on a college team.
