Hello, my name is Lexi Province. I am a Senior at Nevada State High School located in Las Vegas, Nevada. I am currently enrolled in a dual credit program taking college math, English & government classes. I take education very seriously. I maintain a grade point average of 3.3 or above. The knowledge that I received from taking Sports Medicine classes my junior year in high school should definitely give me leverage in college as I further my education.
As my desire and passion is to pursue softball at the college level, let me tell you how softball has affected my life so far. Softball has already given me many opportunities and has connected me with some of the area’s best coaches and players who I look up to as role models. I started playing softball at age nine and since joining my first travel league have learned a tremendous amount of responsibility and dedication on and off the field. I have great respect for the game, my team mates, my coaches and the officials. I am a team player, I never give up and I always hustle. I always want to be the first to arrive and the last to leave. I have learned time management, I’ve learned how to cope with success and failure, and I’ve learned how to prioritize wisely.
My ultimate goal is to play softball at the college level. I am not concerned necessarily with the division level; I just want to play softball. I plan to be a dynamic player and a positive influence on the team. I am a utility player, playing short stop, 3rd base, 2nd base and on occasion outfield, and as I grow physically and mentally I will strive to be an asset to the infield and batting lineup.
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
