Personal Statement
I am a focused and mature student-athlete who understands the importance of excellence in academics and teamwork. Being from a small community has presented unique challenges in the pursuit of my goals. I have had to be self-motivated in seeking out opportunities for competitive play and skill training outside of my community throughout the year.
I use my strength and power on the softball field and lead my team to overcome deficits, rally when down and play hard to the very last pitch, no matter what the score. I have learned that my level of play can elevate the team’s level of play with a positive attitude and hard work.
As a three-sport athlete, goalie for the Varsity soccer team and captain of my High School and travel softball team, it is my goal to find a school that will lay the foundation for my future on and off the field.
