Personal Statement
I am a hard working, self-driven, and committed player who is consistently working to be the best I can be on and off the field. Softball is my passion and I am focused on playing at the highest level possible. I am a committed student currently with a GPA of 3.9 out of 4.0. Everyday, I work hard on the field and in the classroom. I have been a high school Varsity letter winner since my freshman year, have played for numerous club teams, and have personal hitting instruction and training in the off seasons to help me achieve my ultimate goal of playing college softball.
I am primarily a second baseman but can play multiple positions including the outfield. Over the past few seasons and countless hours in the batting cage, I've developed the ability to slap from the left side along with my regular line drive situational hitting approach while looking for any edge I can bring to help my team win. I am dedicated to continue my hard work and focus over my last two high school seasons to prepare myself to play and contribute at the college level because not playing softball in college is not an option for me.
I am interested in majoring in Athletic Training or Sports Management so I can go on to graduate school to study Physical Therapy.
