I fell in love with softball at three years old when I saw a collegiate pitcher and knew I wanted to do that too. Softball for me is not just about being out in the field; it is about cheering on my team from the dugout, encouraging my teammates when they have a rough inning, and playing whatever role the team needs at any given moment.
I have demonstrated my ability to maintain a challenging schedule with the college level courses I have taken since my sophomore year, holding a high GPA both in high school and with my local community college. The courses that I am able to transfer in will allow me greater flexibility with my academic schedule during the season.
I am very interested in pursuing a career in the healthcare field, preferably in orthopedics or sports medicine.
