My name is Samantha Santucci. I am a Junior at Jonathan Dayton High school in Springfield, New Jersey. This season will be my third on varsity. My primary position is Catcher, but I can also play third base and first base. All though my GPA is not very high, I work very hard with school work, and push myself to succeed. On and off the field i look to be positive and motivate people to do the best they can. I am a very dedicated player, I play year round, I have hitting/catching lessons once a week, and I go to the batting cages as much as possible. My club team, The Central Jersey Fillies, have practices once a week during the winter and continues throughout the summer playing tournaments almost every weekend, in August we will go down to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to play in the Triple Crown Nationals. In college I am looking to study nursing because I would like to become a pediatric oncology nurse. As for softball in college I am looking to play either D2 or D3.
