Winning the State Championship as a freshman was probably one of the best things so far in my softball career. I was the starting shortstop for the 3A State Champions, Enka High. I will be going into my sophomore year and plan on playing volleyball in addition to softball. I'm looking for a University with strong academics as well as a competitive softball team. My dream is to one day play in the College World Series in Oklahoma.
Learning this game has taught me more about leadership as well as teamwork. You have to learn to work together to be successful. I also learned that you need to keep moving forward and never give up.
I became interested in softball as a young girl. My father had played baseball at Methodist University. He has coached middle school softball for 20 years. He has worked with me to get where I am today.
