Personal Statement
Hello Coaches!
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
I'll start with what makes me different than other talented right-footed forwards ; ) First of all, I am speedy. I will be one of your fastest players. Secondly, my left foot is extremely strong, too! I am equally capable of playing either outside forward positions. Thirdly, I will work harder than any player on the team. My coaches have told me that I'm one of the most coachable and hard-working players they have ever had. I'm humble and want to learn, grow and become better with each practice. The games are are my reward, but the work is in my practices. I thrive on competition, and will give it my all to build a championship team.
I also get along great with all of my teammates. I'm not someone that loves being the center of attention, but I am a great friend, support and steady presence on a team. My work ethic speaks louder than words. My high school coach is even considering me for Captain as a Junior.
Outside of soccer, I work hard and play hard. I'm currently ranked 2nd in my high school class, was voted Vice President of the Junior class, and remain a dedicated oboeist in the concert band. I have a great group of friends and I am very close with my brother and family. I love to ski, snow board, paddle board, read and cook.
My goal is to play for a competitive team that brings their best to play soccer, work with a coach that sees my potential and allows me the practice and playing time to be my best, and find a school that allows me the opportunity to balance my love of soccer with my academic work ethic and career aspirations.
My name is easy to remember...SK! I hope to play for and with your team in the future.
