My love of the game began at an early age of 4 and being the coach’s daughter. “Coaches daughter” was a title I had to overcome and prove myself as a ball player. Which I successfully did by the age of 9. Expectations were set high, which only increased my motivation and game IQ. Softball has been one of the top influential parts of my life, it has helped mold me into the person I am today. Some people see it as a hobby, but I see it as a lifestyle. I play middle infield, and I also play catcher. Softball has taught me dedication, communication, strong discipline, teamwork and loyalty. I am a multi-sport athlete; I play, and was team captain, for my basketball and volleyball teams. Sports teach me how to become a great team player, and to be a better person today than I was yesterday. Softball brings joy to me that nothing else can.
Not only do I bring a lot to the field, I also bring a lot to the table academically. My grades have always been very important to me, and I expect and plan for myself to keep a high GPA throughout high school. I will also be looking for a college that will support me academically as well as on the field. Criminology and Agriculture are my two interests and I would like to make that a focus as well. My hard work in school effects all aspects of my life and impacts my future. I will bring the skills, the ability to learn and adjust, and a high IQ for the game. The school setting has taught me how to adapt and overcome and advance in my goals. God has given me the talents and I will take full advantage of the opportunities. I want to be a role model and inspire others to be kind and better versions of themselves. I aim to play for a competitive school that can challenge me mentally, academically and athletically.
