Jenna Neely '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jenna Neely. I am 5'7 and 140 lbs. I am the starting senior 3rd basemen for Altus High School and I have been a starter the last 3 years of my high school career. I am a hard worker. If i want something I will do whatever it takes to get it.  My freshmen year I started in left field and my sophomore year I really wanted to play short stop for the varsity team so I worked really hard and i beat out a senior for the position. I played short stop my sophmore and my junior year and i loved it. It was a great experience and I believe playing short stop really made me a better player. This summer I played for a traveling team called the Oklahoma Aftershock and I decided that i really enjoyed playing 3rd base. I decided to play 3rd base for my senior year. My team needed me there so it was a good thing that I had had some experience this summer playing that position. For college, I plan on playing softball. It has always been a dream of mine to play in college.  I don't care who I play for, I just have a love for the game. I am open to any type of college, but I would really much rather stay close to home here in Oklahoma.
