Hello, my name is Shania Simapanen. I have the graduation year of 2027 and I have been playing softball for 6 years now. My primary on the field is Catcher, and my secondary is 1st base. I know how to play all of the other field positions and have had limited pitching experience. I am currently working hard at my academics, achieving honors for the last three years in a row. I am looking to study Nursing. My collegiate goals and aspirations: play college-level softball as a catcher and 1st basemen. Some things that you should know about me is that I am a very coachable and respectful player and person. I am always putting in the work, even outside of scheduled softball activities. I always put 110% effort into anything that is brought my way and I am willing to face any challenge that is thrown at me with confidence. I keep my composure in stressful situations because as a catcher and a leader, I need to keep my teams focus and energy high through any game or practice.
