Kaitlyn Leeds '13 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'1" pitcher from north Texas graduating in 2013. While while maintaining a 3.96 GPA, I also earned a starting varsity pitching position at Kennedale High School my freshman year and have earned district honors every year including 1st Team All-District, Defensive Player of the Year, and Academic All-District. I've played on a travel team for several years and pitched at ASA Nationals five times. Although softball is my passion, I am looking for a school with an outstanding academic reputation. A "college town" atmosphere would be preferred. Also, I'm looking for a team that considers itself a family, providing both academic and personal support. This will a big factor in the distance I'm willing to travel. Ideally, I'd like to play for a team where I can make a positive impact in short order.
