College softball has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. As that time finally approaches, there are many goals I strive to achieve. A few examples would be to earn a starting spot as a freshman, maintain that starting role all four years, achieve a 1.7 pop-time behind the plate, maintain the highest batting average on the team, remain healthy and injury free, and have the lowest number of strikeouts throughout my four seasons. Attributes that would make me a good candidate for any college program are that I strive to be the hardest worker on the team, my competitiveness shines on and off the field, I love being around my teammates and leading by example, and I put in extra work outside of practice and games. I support team goals by fulfilling my role in whatever capacity is asked of me. Things that make me stand out from other recruits would be my drive, the energy I bring on and off the field, and my mental and physical toughness. I believe in selfless play, and supporting team spirit.
Athletically, I have a 72 mph over-hand throw, I am a utility player, and I am versatile and willing to try new positions. In the classroom, I practice time management by meeting deadlines for assignments, I utilize the time given to me, and I maintain A's and/or high B's. Ultimately, I push myself to be my best everyday, so that it will push my teammates to be their best everyday.
