My name is Olivia Henderson, I am a senior at Ballard High School in Seattle Washington. I have been playing softball for eight years now and I’ve loved every minute of it. From the time when my Dad was coaching me in little league to playing travel ball, I’ve made an effort to learn as much as possible about softball . Every year I love the sport more and more and the friendships that have been created with new teammates and coaches. I first realized I wanted to play softball in college was four years ago when I started playing travel ball. That is when I decided I wanted to take my skills to the next level and hold myself to higher standards when it comes to academics and athletics.
This sport has made me incredibly thankful for the friendships and lessons that I have learned throughout playing. Such as trust, grit, respect for one and another and yourself, learning how to retain a lot of information, staying organized for school and planning out your day. My parents have been the biggest influences on my life. From a young age they held me to higher standards and expected more from me. This allowed me to go beyond what I thought I could accomplish. I practice on a regular basis and I am determined to become the best I can. Thank you for visiting my profile.
