Softball has been a huge part of my life since the very beginning. I have been playing since I was 6 and playing club since I was 9. This game has made me into the person I am today.
Because of softball I am twice the leader I used to be. I love being the leader and motivating the whole team to get to where we need to be. I am very coachable. I love making self-improvements and adjustments. I am very hard-working. Putting a lot of effort into something and seeing a better outcome is what makes athletics so great. And finally I am accountable. I know when I have made mistakes. I know to just pick up the pieces and keep moving forward≥
In the classroom I am determined. I work to be a good student and to do my absolute best. I take my academics seriously because I know that my academics and degree will be here for me when softball isn't.
In school I am currently Junior Class VP and I am an editor on the yearbook staff. These have been events that have required me to dig deep in my leadership skills and I know will help me on the field.
