There are an extraordinary number of wishes that children make at a young age in hope to achieve. Then, there is the difference from a wish to a goal, ever since I was in fastpitch Softball, I have set a goal for myself in hope to one day reach. So, setting goals in life are big things that I like to accomplish. Also, to never have thought of becoming a 5' 9" student weighing 135 pounds with a 4.0 GPA, is something that has allowed me to be where I am now, by using my strength, ability, and intelligence to play on a softball field. I understand you play as a team and always hustle on and off the field and show respect, and sportsmanship to players, coaches, and the other team. Also, being a leader and keeping the team energetic and not losing the endurance to win. So, the meaning of team to me is two or more people on a team working together to win. By working together you can be good at everything you do as a whole, but there will always be a way you stand out and that can lead you into a scholarship. A scholarship to me is not just about the bigger and better school but, making sure of good location and education. So, Alabama, Michigan, UNC, Florida, Georgia, Texas, Kentucky, and Tennessee are colleges that would interest me the most. Not just reaching college level, but a major athletic goal of mine is maybe one day becoming the next Jennie Finch, and playing on the USA Softball Team. The drive for me to reach my goal I feel is by practicing more and more, and going to camps. That will help me achieve my goals as an upcoming high school student for scholarship opportunity.
