I view myself a good candidate due to multiple reasons on and off the court. My passion for this sport has brought me to push myself to my best ability. My drive, hunger, and improvement has brought me to extreme lengths in this sport. I crave the ball in my hands, and to feel the rush I get playing against a good team, and that all starts in practice. I aspire to inspire my teammates every day by pushing them to their best abilities, and hopefully could push new teammates. This sport has become a commitment; on and off the court I'm continuously thinking of ways to improve not only myself but also my team. My goal is to pursue basketball in college and to work my hardest to make my coaches, family, and myself proud. I plan to accomplish this by giving my best in not only every game but also every practice no matter the consequences. Doing this by putting my body on the line for a loose ball, charge, and my teammates. I believe myself a good candidate because I not only have the skills to benefit the team on the court but also support my team off the court. I push myself harder every day to pursue this goal by studying academically and working to my best ability athletically.
