I really appreciate you reading my profile so far. Currently, I am in grade 10 at Khalsa Secondary School located in Surrey, British Colombia, Canada. We are a small school that opened up in 2014, but are slowly building the enrollment rate due to the success of our student athletes in basketball. I have been playing basketball since I was in grade three. I was a sixth man in grade 9 on the Senior Girls Basketball team, however I am looking to start in grade 10 this year. I had a great season with my team last year and i am looking forward to further build on that success.
I believe that I am a good candidate for a full ride scholarship because I am consistently working hard on improving my skills. I do not like my team being scored on and will always try to be as positive as I can throughout the game. I am a very aggressive defensive player and my work ethic is unsurpassed. I am very strong and have great stamina, but I am continually building on all my qualities. I am very confident in my abilities offensively and defensively. My basketball I.Q. is also very high. I am never satisfied with where I am so I always want to work harder than I can to improve my game from all aspects. My coach was also a full ride scholarship athlete at Oklahoma State University. She is well aware of the competition and competitiveness required to garner a full ride scholarship.
My future goals consist of;
*Graduate from highschool with a 4.0 G.P.A.
*Get a full ride scholarship in academics and basketball
*Be a top 3 player in B.C and win a provincial championship
*I want to get accepted into med school and become a Neurosurgeon
*I want to graduate university with a great G.P.A.
*I want to become a successful doctor in my field
*I want to nurture successful family
