My name is Kayla Rubio, I am currently a senior at Calexico High School. As a member of the volleyball and basketball team, I have learned to play thru tough situations, be responsible and most importantly to be disciplined. Being a 2 sport athlete has prepared me with the skills and character needed to succeed. I have been playing basketball for over 9 years and this upcoming season will be my 3 year on the varsity team. In the classroom I am a 3.4 G.P.A student with great work ethic. My goal is find a school where I can obtain a degree while being able to play basketball.
