Hi!
My name is Ashley Heyer, I am a senior at Crean Lutheran High School in Irvine, California. I love my family, friends, and my school, but most of all, playing basketball and I would really love to play in college! I am a multi-sport athlete (soccer and track and field). I am a very hard worker, I take pride in what I do and I never give up despite the uphill battles I sometimes face with my academics, due to having attention deficit disorder. I always give 200% in all I do, it's just who I am as a person. I love the challenge of hard work and meeting the goals I set for myself.
My collegiate goals include getting a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in business, while also playing the game of basketball, which I love. I want to attend a school that will challenge and push me to be a better student, athlete, and person.
As a freshman, I made the varsity team. At that time I had only been playing rec basketball for my small junior high school team. Prior to basketball, I played academy club soccer as a goalkeeper. I have been told by my coaches and trainers that I am a fast learner, very coachable, dedicated, motivated, athletic, and encouraging to my teammates. I believe I have the ability to compete in college. My hope is to become a role model to my peers, make a difference in the world in some way, and make my family proud since they have been so supportive of me over the years.
I would love the opportunity to show you what I am capable of doing and how I can be an asset to your program if given the chance.
Thank you!
